Can you please give me some Halloween ideas?

I am throwing a Halloween party and I am making my family room (which is in the basement) a haunted house. I will have a mad scientist’s lab, a 4′ scary clown, black light, strobe light and creepy noises. Do you have any other ideas?
Check out buycostumes.com and search “scene setters”. You can hang these on your walls – we have done the castle, the graveyard and this year are doing the haunted house/peeling wallpaper ones. Buy cheap white sheets or curtains from salvation army/value village and age them. Soak in tea to achieve that used lok and shred them up. Hang over all tabels and counters, even over you sofa if you have enough. Cobwebbing is cheap and really does set the scene.
