When do you call the police?
This morning I was awoken by a child screaming outside my door. The mother was threatening him with a hot iron, and I called the police. I want to know, have you been in this situation? I lived on a military base in 1998 and the neighbor killed his daughter with a garden hose (beating her). It will forever haunt me (I didnt know it was happening). Let me know.
You call the police whenever you suspect that a crime needs to be reported. Whether you like them or not, it is a service you pay for and a legally required procedure
When they don’t do their jobs maintaining respect and dignity, you report them as part of their required work standards and your citizen rights
